the LUNCHBOX series Homage to the Laborer   Everyone depends on the work of the laborer. Laborers build our skyscrapers and homes, harvest and manufacture our food and produce the clothes we wear. They do thousands of jobs that make our communities run smooth and efficient throughout our everyday lives. And yet they go mostly unnoticed by the very people they serve.   These paintings are my homage to the labor worker as told through the humble and classic packed lunch.  Everyone eats- but it is what the Laborer eats at lunchtime that speaks out when we look at what fuels the engines of the men and women who enhance our lives but are seldom in our thoughts.
