JW Caldwell sets us up to look at the not so pretty by defining his subject in more colorful terms. Using explosions, relics, angels, targets, bullets and butterflies, this collection translates into a kind of pop dialog of the phrase 'God works in mysterious ways'. JW is from a school which most artists never have an opportunity to apply. He is a premium art handler which seems to serve as his classroom.  Damien Hirst and Warhol masterworks often fall on his roster of duties to work with. He is an excellent outdoor sportsman throwing more influence upon him as a painter.
